Cast your Vote for the Decentraland Game Jam ‘23 Community Choice Winner!

After over three weeks of hard work, the Decentraland community has submitted their entries for this year’s Game Jam! Powered by Polygon, the 2023 edition of Decentraland’s Game Jam revolved around the theme ‘Lucid Dreams’. Players were tasked to create a dreamlike interactive experience using SDK 7 and some form of AI while ensuring their scene could be deployed to a World.
Now it is your turn, as the Decentraland community, to cast your vote for the Game Jam submission you like best. Up for grabs is 1000 MANA, 1 LAND, and Polygon Swag for the Community Choice winners.
Below you’ll find links to each of the experiences with a brief description, as well as links to the submissions’ GitHub pages if you want to take a peek under the hood. Entrants were asked to keep the following criteria in mind when creating their experiences:

‘Wow’ Factor
But the community vote is up to you, so vote for the dream experience you enjoyed the most. Once you’ve looked through all the entries, cast your vote via this DAO poll. In this particular poll, VP is not counted, each person will get one vote. Don’t sleep on it—you’ll only have 5 days to vote! Voting ends Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Navigate maze-like levels in a roguelike game, battling AI-equipped enemies through procedurally-generated levels. Make sure to have your sound on!
Lucid Dream by Frequency
2nd Place Winner 🥈
You’ll have to move fast in this nightmarish dreamscape if you don’t want to be woken up! Find a hidden weapon to defeat the ghost, then ascend to an enlightened being in the sky by jumping from cloud to cloud if you want the gift of any and all questions answered.

3rd Place Winner 🥉
Challenge yourself with an extensive labyrinth puzzle that has one true path, but many misleading ones. If you need help, click "Show Clues" to reveal glowing yellow arrows that will help guide you to the true path or "Show Hint" to bring up a text dialogue box that gives some hints as to what can be done in certain areas.

Nightmare’s End by mattimus
Jump into a nightmare best experienced with friends to help you complete the challenge and change your bad dream into a good one. Protect your bed while adding energy to 3 separate orbs to make it to the end of the nightmare!
The Cavern by DOCTORdripp
Embark on a quest through a dreamscape world filled with Doge-like creatures. Help save the CAVERN and its inhabitants from certain doom through various challenges including zombies, mystical relics, mazes, and more while collecting some nice rewards along the way!
Fluffy Cat by Dogman and ArtReYou
Play as a fluffy cat and press E to fly up, avoiding obstacles and falling too low so you won’t be forced out. Don’t forget to collect birds for bonus points!

To start this dream experience, you’ll need to click on the portraits on the wall. Following that you’ll be challenged with parkour on an ocean level, then will have to memorize shapes and recreate them using the provided levers. Once you do this three times and all the spheres on top become green, a moving platform will spawn. At the end, enjoy playing piano!
