This year, Decentraland’s 5th annual Art Week event takes place from March 26-29. Centered on the theme of ‘exploration’, #DCLAW24 explores the concept of ‘art beyond reality’ through the work of over 40 featured artists. Exploring Decentraland’s Art Plaza, the main festival grounds for the event, you'll discover the infinite potential of art and creativity in a realm where virtual environments become journeys of discovery into new realities.
The main attractions to experience at this year’s Art Week edition are 8 galleries showcasing a diverse array of virtual art, interactive installations, and live performances from award-winning artists and the Decentraland community, as well as the multidimensional experience that is MESHfair, the renowned virtual art fair for 3D, metaverse, and VR creators.

All Decentraland Art Week attractions can be found in Art Plaza, located at coordinates (61, 61), with the exception of the Rapture Gallery which can be found at (-89, -66). Be sure to check the Welcome Area daily to collect your free Wearable or Emote!
Serving as the focal point of Decentraland Art Week since last year’s ‘The metaverse is dead. Long live the metaverse.’ edition, MESHfair is curated by leading galleries including Unit London and OFFICE IMPART. This year, the art fair showcases 32 new immersive works from international artists which you’ll be able to explore at your leisure or choose to join one of 5 artist-led tours held over the course of the 4-day event.
Decentraland Art Week culminates with a sparkling Awards Gala on Thursday, March 28 during which the top 3 artists of MESHfair will be awarded cash prizes sponsored by the Decentraland Foundation. The Gala will be followed by a quintessential Decentraland afterparty with music provided by a DJ chosen by the community. Prepare to show off your favorite community-made Emotes dance moves and strike a pose in a unique Wearable ensemble as the community celebrates another year of boundary-defining art in Decentraland!
Decentraland Art Week will be full of exhibitions to immerse yourself in, tours from which to learn, and performances to enjoy, so if you think that you’ll be able to see everything in just one day, you’d be mistaken! In addition to all the activities planned during #DCLAW24, free items will be dropped daily in the Art Week Welcome Area. Make sure to drop in everyday and collect each of the 4 exclusive items that will be up for grabs, 2 Wearables and 2 Emotes, so you’ll always remember your experience of exploring ‘Art Beyond Reality’ at Decentraland’s 5th edition of Art Week!
