About AIFF For the past 13 years, the Arlington International Film Festival (AIFF) has curated a festival in the fall that celebrates the very best of indie local, national, and international films for audiences to enjoy. AIFF’s Selection Committee watches hundreds of submissions each year and is delegated with the task of choosing films that represent the best in creative storytelling and technical execution while holding to the festival’s mission of fostering appreciation for different cultures by exploring the lives of people around the globe through independent film. Each year brings forth amazing visions of filmmakers that we are honored to bring to Greater Boston. About Voices of our Youth: AIFF’s student program was founded in 2010 with a mission to discover, recognize, and foster young talent while creating a global conversation. The festival is open to high school students around the world where the conversations range in topics that touch on community issues, social justice, peace/violence, arts, music, and more. The program has been screened in prominent film festivals around the world.
