Decentraland University are hosting a Blockchain Education Network event for a discussion with Gitcoin to learn how students can get onboarded to the future of work. At the Crypto College on Thursday March 18th. Hackathons, grants, and bounties. Gitcoin has been an integral part of Web3 development and funding, and is a great opportunity for any blockchain club to get involved. We are pleased to bring on Vivek Singh and Scott Moore from Gitcoin to share these opportunities on how anyone can start earning crypto by doing bounties, participating in their hackathons, or setting up a grant for fundraising. [Gitcoin](https://gitcoin.co) is a pathway for developers to work for the open internet. Build open source software, get paid, meet top talent & teams in crypto, and support public goods. Gitcoin wants to enable YOU to be able to work for open source, for the open internet. In January 2020, Gitcoin facilitated $333k in value transfer. That's about $463/hour, for every hour during January. The [Blockchain Education Network (BEN)](https://blockchainedu.org) is a seven-year-old 501(c)3 nonprofit network of blockchain clubs, students, professors, and alumni around the world.
