Bohém - People practising an unconventional lifestyle, living with lightsome and unwaried optimism; careless about social norms, cheerful. Betyár - Outlawed highwaymen in the 18-19th century; later legendary figures in the public mind, fighting for social justice; today young striplings, taking their own way. Formed in 2009, Bohemian Betyars is a fiddler band with a purpose to spread the feeling of bitter revelry (an oh so Hungarian specialty) the farthest possible. Self-described as speed-folk freak-punk, their music has evolved into a new, exciting mixture – including rocking punk bouncing ska, swooping psychedelia, melodic themes all spiced up with Hungarian, Balkanic and Gipsy elements. From the Baltic Sea to the Atlantic Ocean, in the last couple of years this real power boost band made the audience dance about a thousand times. Be it on the street, at a club or a festival, the catchy tunes of Bohemian Betyars will yank you out of the mundane weekdays and throw you into the deep waters of delirium, just as it was planned to happen. With this material, listeners are invited to venture into the world of cryptocurrencies. As part of a charity campaign, everyone can purchase a piece of lyrics from the album. In addition to digitally purchasing the record, the supporters will also receive a blockchain network-certified coupon (NFT) that ensures the authenticity of the purchase and instantly become a member of the band’s inner circle of fans. All the proceeds will go to young, emerging artists as a part of a self-organized talent show in their hometown, Miskolc. The studio's costs were also paid for with a cryptocurrency-based online video game product (Axie Infinity), which is probably the first such album in Hungary. In addition to the NFT charity campaign, their album release concert on October 31 will also be broadcast in the virtual world called Decentraland, Festival District - OG Smash Stage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otUV-glUD4Y
