Join us on the top floor of the Cash Labs Gallery! Produced by MUXX collective, this series of digital artworks explores non-binary gender identity through the lense of the Muxes (a 3rd gender) of the Zapotec nation of Mexico. Through the 3D animations, one can observe the changing nature of the Muxe. MUXX is a collaborative project from four artists in residence at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA); Lukas Avendaño (performance artist, choreographer and 'Muxe'), EYIBRA ( aka Abraham Brody, composer, performer and multimedia artist), Oswaldo Erreve (digital artist), and NNUX (composer, producer, sound artist).
