Genesis Plaza, the Place You Start From
Genesis Plaza is becoming more than just a starting point. It’s becoming a place where you meet, decide what to do, and move together.
With the new portals, you can:
Instantly access some of the most popular Decentraland games
Move from Plaza into experiences together as a group
Keep the energy going without breaking the moment
Instead of sending a link, you can now say: “Meet me at the portal next to the Nekko Bar.”
Specific. Findable. The kind of thing you say without thinking about it.
The lineup will rotate. New experiences will cycle in. Every time you come back, Genesis Plaza will look a little different, which means there's always a reason to jump in and check what's new with friends.
First Portals Now Open
This week kicks off with four standout experiences:
Flag Tag
A fast-paced multiplayer keep-away game where you chase, tag, and outplay others to hold the flag the longest, using clever movement, tools, and tactics to climb the leaderboard.
Jump in for instant action. It’s chaotic, social, and perfect for quick sessions where you just want to hang out with friends and laugh while competing for the flag. Where? The portal near the Clock Tower (goes to flagtag.dcl.eth).
Knights of Antrom
A fantasy action RPG, live in Decentraland. Explore dungeons, defeat powerful bosses, and grow your hero through skill trees, pets, crafting, and rare gear. Your Decentraland Wearables add real in-game strength, turning your collection into part of your character's power. Join a guild, compete in weekly Guild Wars for gold rewards, and climb global leaderboards.
Inspired by retro RPGs and built in Decentraland since 2021, Knights of Antrom blends classic progression with social play. Whether you’re a dedicated player or just jumping in with friends, it’s a shared world of adventure, growth, and challenge. Where? The portal by the Community Photo Wall (goes to 144,-7).
Slay the Steps
Slay the Steps is a social fashion game and casual runway party. You style your avatar for a main character moment, then emote down iconic gala–inspired steps while friends watch, vote, and crown the runway star.
This is your moment to show up and stand out. Style your look, capture content, and hang out with friends while hyping each other up and owning the runway.
Where? The portal by DCL Store (goes to slaythesteps.dcl.eth).
Bloom Garden
Bloom Garden is a new social game where you and friends work together to keep a living garden thriving long enough to awaken the Big Bloom.
Slow things down and enjoy something beautiful. Grow the garden, work together to keep it healthy, and capture stunning, shareable moments. It’s ideal when you want a more relaxed way to hang out with friends in a living, breathing world. Where? The portal by Nekko Bar (goes to bloomgarden.dcl.eth).
How To Use The Portals
If you're meeting friends, pick a portal in advance. "Plaza, Nekko Bar portal, 8pm UTC" is enough to set the night up.
If you're showing up alone, the community is usually hanging out in the Plaza so the conversation tends to start itself and invite someone to join you!
If you're new to one of these games, the portal is the easy way in. Step through, see what happens. A Return to Plaza teleport is right there when you want to come back and try a different one.
