It’s that time of year again: Decentraland’s 4th annual music festival is back and this time the course is set for an interstellar EDM journey through the galaxy! Live November 20-23, DCLMF24 will be the first major event to take place on Decentraland’s all-new desktop client, offering game-changing enhanced performance and tons of new features. Get ready to make new friends on the dancefloor and explore breathtaking cosmic experiences as you drift into space on a soundtrack of EDM from across the globe.

An EDM Lineup from Across the Galaxy

From blended future bass sounds out of LA, to Durban’s gqom, to progressive psytrance with Azerbaijani roots, DCLMF24’s lineup of exclusive EDM sets from a global array of DJs is sure to transport you to another world. Set against a cosmic backdrop, international headliners like NGHTMRE, San Holo, BLOND:ISH, Whipped Cream, Mat Zo, and DJ Lag will share the stage with rising underground artists from Argentina, Greece, France, Germany, Japan, and Spain. Spread across four days, 26 unique sets will take place at the event’s main stage. See the full schedule to plan out your time during the festival or RSVP to specific events to get notified before they start. Missed a performance because you were too busy trying to best your time in one of the parkour runs? Don’t worry! You’ll be able to catch a replay of the day’s sets every day at 3am UTC.

Deep Space Parkour

This year, Decentraland Music Festival debuts two new space-themed parkour experiences built by the winners of the DCLMF24 Open Call for 3D Creators. Designed to test your agility and skill, these immersive runs will challenge you to push past your limits as you explore sci-fi landscapes and make your way to the top of the charts! Snap a selfie during one of your runs and post it on X with #JumpIn @Decentraland for a chance to be one of 10 lucky winners to score 100 MANA.

Space Elevation by Stom (-68,-65) 

Prepare to ascend into orbit with this thrilling vertical parkour! Starting at the Space Elevator Launch Facility, journey through Mission Control, navigating maze-like rooms and challenges. Hop into the Passenger Capsule and ascend to the Midway Station, where more obstacles await before you board a final capsule to reach the pinnacle—the Space Station itself. The view at the top is breathtaking, with clouds below and stars stretching into the distance! Featuring timed airlocks, moving platforms, and jump puzzles, Space Elevation is a near-future experience, expertly designed to keep you on your toes.

Crash Site by Pepe Gawd (-58,-65)

Venture through the wreckage of a crashed alien spacecraft, complete with tentacles that still entangle the hull! Climb through the mysterious interior and scale the ship’s tilted exterior, facing animated challenges that add to the intensity. This derelict ship once explored the metaverse—now, it’s your turn to conquer its chaotic remains. With detailed animations and moving parts, Crash Site invites you to brave a haunting yet exhilarating climb up to its highest point.

Who doesn’t love souvenirs? This year’s DCL Music Festival offers up no shortage of mementos for you to add to your collection with 18 free Wearables & Emotes waiting to be found: there’s the official DCLMF24 outfit that you can collect all four pieces of by completing daily quests, three specially-commissioned EDM Emotes, four headliner Wearables, a DCLMF24 Badge to add to your profile, and a variety of other Wearables waiting to be discovered throughout the festival grounds—plus, there will even be two different selfie competitions you can enter to win extra MANA for a Marketplace shopping spree! Daily Quests: Complete Your DCLMF24 Space Suit Outfit

Excited to unlock exclusive, limited-edition DCLMF drip? To claim these, you’ll have to complete the quest of the day, exploring different locations on the festival grounds. Just click the rocket icon in the upper left of your screen to see the daily quest, once you complete all the steps, the day’s special Wearable will be automatically sent to your Backpack!

  • EDM Shape Cutting by Protean Productions: This Emote brings the Melbourne-originated "Shape Cutting" dance style to Decentraland. With fluid, angular hand movements that create geometric shapes in the air, it’s a perfect match for bass-heavy EDM beats.

Where’s Juan?

If you’re a DCL veteran, then you may remember Juan, the mysterious Genesis City resident often seen at events in a fedora and trenchcoat—he’s back! Check Decentraland’s socials during the festival to get a peek of what he looks like, but most likely, once you’ll see him, you’ll know him. ;) Each day of the festival you’ll have a chance to find Juan in a different spot, somewhere on the festival grounds. Snap a selfie with him and share it on X, tagging @Decentraland with the hashtag #wheresjuan. Each daily selfie with Juan counts as an entry, so be sure to find him each day for 4 chances to win one of the 200 MANA prizes. Multiple posts on the same day will not count as additional entries.

Parkour Selfies

Post a selfie on X of yourself during a run of the Space Elevation or Crash Site parkour courses with the hashtag #JumpIn and @Decentraland for a chance to win 100 MANA. Only one entry per person will be counted.
