Refer Friends, Get Rewarded in Decentraland
By Decentraland, , in Announcements
Decentraland has always been social at its core. From late-night concerts to co-created Worlds and unforgettable first-time meetups, the moments that matter most tend to involve someone else. Now there's a new way to bring friends in-world—and earn exclusive rewards along the way!
Decentraland’s new Referral Program makes it easy to invite others and celebrate the joy of discovery together. A personal invite link, simple sign-up flow, and milestone-based rewards create a win-win loop of connection.
What Is Decentraland’s Referral Program?
This Referral Program is designed to grow Decentraland through its greatest strength: the community. It allows anyone with a Decentraland account to share a custom link with friends. When that link leads to a successful signup and in-world landing, you get closer to unlocking exclusive rewards.
There’s nothing to configure—just grab your referral link, share it, and enjoy hanging out with your friends once they’re in-world!.
How It Works
Get Your Unique Referral Link
Once you’re signed in on decentraland.org, click on your avatar’s picture in the top right corner and click 'View Profile'. On your Profile page, click the 'Referral Rewards' tab where you'll find your unique referral link. The Referral Rewards section is also where you’ll be able to track your progress towards unlocking rewards.
Share It With Friends
Invite your friends to join you in Decentraland by sending them your referral link via Discord, post it on X, or drop it in the group chat—whatever suits your style. Just make sure your friends know they need to be on a computer to jump in directly using your link for you to get the credit.
Meet Your Friends In-World, Unlock Rewards!
Once your friend creates their Decentraland account, downloads the client, and jumps into Genesis City, a successful referral will be logged for your account! If you’re signed up for email notifications, you’ll be notified when someone jumps in using your referral link. You can also track your progress towards unlocking rewards in your web profile at decentraland.org/profile.
Tiered Rewards: Every Invite Counts
Each referral milestone you reach will unlock a new reward—ranging from exclusive Wearables, different tiers of a new Badge made just for super referrers, and even an IRL Decentraland swag bag! As some of the rewards feature items that are Exotic or even Mythic rarity, they’ll only be available while supply lasts. If a certain item runs out, it will be replaced by a new item of the same category and rarity.
