Meet the Maestros: The Artists Powering Decentraland’s Music Talent Trail

No matter the time zone, location, or language, parties in Decentraland offer a universal experience where everyone can participate. Since its founding in 2021, Decentraland has empowered anyone to host events for their community and friends. These gatherings are at the heart of Decentraland’s culture, uniting people from across the world. And that’s exactly what each of these hosts has been doing.
We’re thrilled to unveil the incredible artists and venues selected for this year’s Music Talent Trail—a celebration of sound, creativity, and community happening on March 20th from 7PM to 11PM UTC.
Los Cat at the Pink Oasiss

Kicking off the Music Talent Trail is Los Cat, performing at the stunning Pink Oasis. Los Cat first stepped into Decentraland in 2021. Recently she has been developing Pink Oasis as a music brand, drawing inspiration from The Peach Blossom Spring (桃花源记), a Chinese classic that describes a hidden utopia. “Music, to me, feels like that kind of utopia—an escape, a place of beauty and serenity,” she shares. This vision is reflected in the venue’s soft pink hues and delicate peach blossom elements. But Pink Oasis is more than just a space—it’s a statement. “As a woman, I want to showcase my own strength and empower other talented women to join me, grow together, and unleash their resilience.”
For Los Cat, throwing a great party in Decentraland is all about crafting a fully immersive experience. “DCL isn’t just about the music—it’s about interaction, stage dynamics, lighting effects, and the entire visual atmosphere. Beyond the technical aspects, what really matters is how the artist blends sound with the virtual world. It’s about using this medium to express yourself, merging music and visuals to create something truly unique.”
When it comes to music, LosCat is a genre explorer. “Music is like a close friend—it’s always there when I need it. I love all kinds of music, but lately, I’ve been really into hip-hop. I’ve been learning scratch techniques and diving deep into turntablism—it’s raw, it’s real, and it resonates with me on a deep level.” Looking ahead, she plans to incorporate scratching into her sets, leaning more into hip-hop while continuing to mix in the diverse sounds that define her style. “Before hip-hop, I spent most of my time with electronic music—dubstep, trap, trance, 8-bit, techno—you name it. I love breaking boundaries, keeping things fresh, and throwing in unexpected tracks to surprise the audience.” For the Pink Oasis opening party, though, she’s keeping it smooth. “I’ll be using using Pioneer DJ and Rekordbox to play deep house and set the vibe.”

DJ aKIDcalledMake at the Beast Hideout

Next up is DJ aKIDcalledMAKE who is the unofficial king of Fridays in Decentraland. In 2024, Make opened Beast Hideout—a trippy, rainbow-colored Beast head stacked atop a multicolored dance floor. Since its debut, the Hideout has become a high-energy party den where members of the A Kid Called Beast community raid and come together. Co-hosted by Sinful and Pinch, the Meta Beast Roaming Party is an eclectic mix of house, R&B, and hip-hop, making it a staple of Decentraland’s weekly party circuit.
A true community builder and connector, Make is a proud holder of several NFT projects, including A Kid Called Beast and DeadY00ts. He uses these communities as a way to collaborate with fellow metaverse DJs, bringing in talent like LoveLewyy from AKCB Radio, Nate Guppy of NFT Record Shop, and DJvAPED to co-host unforgettable Friday night sets.
Make’s story is unique—not only has he made his mark in the digital world, but his journey has also transitioned into the physical. Recently, he DJ’d at the ETHDenver Dome and kicked off the Beyond the Block Denver party, hosted by Third Planet Studio. From the metaverse to IRL stages, Make is proving that the party never stops.

Meta Tribe Plaza feat Crypt0M1notaur

MetaWolf began hosting parties at the MetaTribe Plaza in earnest in 2023. More than just a venue, MetaTribe Plaza has become a thriving community hub, regularly hosting events such as Beyond the NFT and, most recently, the Decentraland Book Club.
MetaTribe Plaza was born out of a collaboration between members of the Tribe. “I bought my first 2x1 parcel in the MetaTribe Plaza neighborhood after previously building on rented land, which is how I met MrJSTickel,” MetaWolf explains. He then decided to acquire more land and delegate it to builders MetaLuke and CryptoMinotaur. “Over time, we expanded our land holdings even further by renting a 3x3 estate to bring even cooler things with ToxicWaifu and MeanGreenDoge, the awesome duo behind Dogebusters.” The current plaza design emerged when each member of the tribe merged their land to create a central gathering space for the community.
Every week, MetaWolf, along with MetaTribe members MetaLuke, MrJSTickel, and the Dogebusters team, gathers in the Plaza to enjoy a Crypt0M1notaur set with the Decentraland community. Crypt0M1notaur is known for pushing the boundaries of virtual performance, DJing in VR and experimenting with new technologies to bring fresh, immersive music experiences to Decentraland.
Crypt0M1notaur adapts his DJ setup based on his location and technical availability. “Currently, I’m hooked up to an Apollo Audio Interface with the newest Alpha Theta Decks, which I’m still finding my way around,” he shares. While house and dance are his favorite genres, he selects from a wide range of styles, as “each era has a special place.” Whether you’re a music lover or a metaverse explorer, MetaTribe Plaza is a must-visit.

Dhingia Club feat Stoney Eye

Ain’t no party like a Dhingia party. A legend in Decentraland’s nightlife, Mr. Dhingia has been hosting unforgettable events since February 2022. His personal build, Dhingia Club, stands in Genesis City as a hub for music, art, and community. Here, partygoers can feel the energy of a real-world nightclub while embracing the limitless potential of the metaverse.
For Mr. Dhingia, the key to a great party in Decentraland is simple: good music, great friends, exciting giveaways, and an atmosphere that radiates amazing vibes. His club’s multi-floor design and rooftop pools set the perfect stage for his iconic UnMonday parties—a high-energy kickoff to the week.
Beyond the dance floor, MrDhingia is a seasoned architect with over 100 builds across the metaverse. His creativity extends into digital fashion as well, having designed over 30 Wearables that reflect his signature style.
Joining him is Stoney, a cornerstone of Decentraland’s music scene. Famous for his “MoFyah” catchphrase and electrifying guitar shred interludes, Stoney has played over 100 sets, leaving an indelible mark on the community. His passion for music extends into digital fashion, celebrating punk, reggae, and hip-hop subcultures through his designs.
“If I had to pick one defining genre, it would be the golden era of reggae,” Stoney shares. “It’s my favorite to DJ, and it always sets the perfect vibe.” His most unforgettable performance? “Easy—Halloween night at the MetaZoo in 2021. The energy was on FYAH, and 1,000 POAPs were claimed that night. It was a two-hour set non-stop. Such a vibe!”
When DJing, Stoney takes a unique approach, blending live dub techniques with Ableton Live and OBS. His performances push creative boundaries, keeping Decentraland’s party scene alive and thriving.

Facemoon Gallery feat DJ Abilitea AKA Billy Teacoin

A multi-talented builder, wearable creator, and event organizer, Meryshark has been hosting since 2023, making waves with Unleashed Eras—an event series supported by the Decentraland DAO. Her Facemoon Gallery started as a hub for positive and creative minds and has since become a Web3 sanctuary for artists and musicians.
Mery is also the creator of the Facemoon NFT collection, symbolizing “hope and perseverance for crypto projects.” The gallery’s success is a testament to decentralization and community support. “Facemoon Gallery thrives thanks to the collaboration of many people and the generous help of Canessa, who delegated land to make this dream possible,” Mery shares.
For her, the key to a great party is fostering connection. “Each event is tailored to its theme, fully immersing attendees in the experience. Beyond music, it’s about inclusivity—welcoming everyone to create, share, and celebrate together.”
A frequent Facemoon collaborator, Billy Teacoin is the founder of ABC Decentraland and is known for his cheeky humor and signature mustache. His DJ sets weave together a diverse range of genres, delivering high-energy performances that keep the crowd guessing.
“‘90s to early 2000s hip-hop and rap are my favorites,” Billy says. “For the Music Talent Trail, expect some serious throwbacks.” His most memorable set? “The 1920s-themed party for Unleashed Eras at Facemoon Gallery—it was completely different from anything I’d done before and so much fun.”
Billy’s setup includes Serato DJ software, an AKAI controller, and OBS for streaming. While he owns turntables, he laughs, “I just don’t have the desk space for them right now!”
