Decentraland Is Now on Epic Games Store
By Decentraland, , in Announcements
Decentraland is now available to download through the Epic Games Store. The 74 million people who spend time on Epic every month just found a new place to hang out online.
This opens a door. A lot of people have never heard of Decentraland. The Epic Games Store changes that. It's familiar. It's trusted. It's where those who would love Decentraland already are.
Every week, you'll find weekly live music, watch parties, and hangouts—the type of experiences where familiar faces keep showing up and new people always find their crowd. It's the kind of place where you come for the event and stay for the people.
Download on Epic Games Store the same way you download anything else, and you're in. And when you download through Epic, you'll get something special: the exclusive Epic Arrival Shield Wearable. Wear it and you'll be instantly recognizable as someone who showed up and downloaded as soon as it dropped.
You're Invited: The Epic Blue Party
To celebrate this launch, the community is throwing a party on April 2, 2026, at 7pm UTC in Decentraland Theatre. Expect a packed dancefloor and great DJs!
Dress in electric blue. Cyan. Ultramarine. Whatever shade speaks to you. Pair it with your most legendary Epic gear. (Epic is a rarity trait for Wearables in Decentraland—if you grab some, you'll stand out.)
Speaking of Wearables, want to snag some fresh Wearables for free? Sign up for Marketplace Credits in-world and start earning. Once you do, head to the Marketplace and pick out some Wearables to update your look.

The Party Lineup
7pm UTC: Dúo Dø An Argentine music and art duo rooted between Argentina and Japan. They blend electronic sounds into immersive, story-driven performances. You might have heard them at Decentraland Music Festival 2025. This is them bringing the same energy to the dancefloor.
8pm UTC: DirkNeuenfels A high-energy DJ from Dortmund who's delivered shows to massive crowds across Europe. This is his Decentraland debut, and he's streaming it out to his Twitch community.
New to Decentraland? This Is Where to Start
If you've never been before, this party is the right entry point. No experience needed. No pressure to perform or pretend to be someone you're not. Download Decentraland, show up, wear blue, and hang out with people there to have fun.
This is the first in a series of parties. There's a rhythm now. You'll know where to find people and when.
