How to Send Gifts to Other Users in Decentraland

One of the most special things about Decentraland is how naturally generosity shows up. New friendships, birthdays, last-minute outfit help, or simply welcoming someone who just arrived—sharing Wearables and Emotes has long been part of how people connect here.
Direct in-world gifting turns those small, meaningful moments into something effortless and immediate.
Introducing Direct In-World Gifting
Gifting now happens right where social moments unfold—no interruptions, no switching tabs. It allows for instant sharing while staying immersed in the world.
How it works:
Click on the avatar of the person receiving the gift or use the “View Profile” option in the context menu of the Profile picture.
Click the three dots icon in the top right of the player profile.
Click the “Gift” option.
Browse your inventory and select the Wearable or Emote to send.
Confirm that you want to send the gift. Once confirmed, the recipient will receive a special notification to celebrate the moment.
It’s designed to feel simple, social, and human because gifting here is about connection, not transactions.
Marketplace Transfers Are Still Available
The traditional method of making transfers via the Marketplace remains available via the browser, which is useful for sending items to players who are not currently online.
How it works:
Go to decentraland.org/marketplace.
Click the profile icon in the top right and select “My Assets”.
Click on the specific Wearable or Emote you want to send.
On the asset page, click the “Transfer” button.
Paste the recipient's account ID (found on their in-world or Marketplace profile) and confirm.
Jump into Decentraland, find a friend, and share something meaningful today. Sometimes a small gift is all it takes to make someone feel at home.
